A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Bringing this across from last thread as @upstartledimage to good to languish there

Mn is typically brutal re Kemi (a woman and not a white male go figure on why) but she’s doing far better than Starmer and Labour.

The knives are out for Kemi because she's doing well, and they know it. I enjoyed watching her at PMQs today. She has definitely found her groove. Perhaps the news about a collaboration signals that Farage is also sensing a change in the wind direction.

The Kemi thread is a binfire. I can't decide if its misinformation or disinformation when I read some of the posts. Kemi is apparently going to cut welfare by £50bn. The correct figure is actually £23bn, but it sounds better if you double it. 🤯 I can't be arsed arguing the toss.

Yep I think it’s the thread title too just making people pounce. Although Labour diehard supporters have been belittling as much as possible anyway.

She’s definitely enjoying PMQs, much more than Starmer so she can keep going easily each week.

I’ll have a little celebration when her approval line passes all the others.

Labour MP Markus Campbell-Savours has had the whip removed for voting against the government's motion to change inheritance tax for farmers.

“Let me be clear, if today was the real vote, I would vote against the Government’s plans. I’m no rebel. I’m a moderate – but during the election, I read what I thought were assurances from my party that we had no plans to introduce changes to APR.

“On this basis, I reassured farmers in my constituency that we would not. Now I simply am not prepared to break my word.”

Good on him, actually sticking to that.

Yeh its good. At least he can look his constituents in the eye. He only has a majority of 5000.

Kemi's on it too.

Potential party switch to Reform ! Henry Tufnell Labour Mid and South Pembrokeshire very similar in nature and comes 'amazingly' from a landed family. So there are two potential MP's who do not fit in the Labour party and advocates for farming.

More stupidity from an inept Government who have no idea about the policies they invoke. They have made it more expensive to run Electric Cars than Petrol/ Diesel if you have a 'Flat' how stupid if you are advocating for people to replace ICE with Electric Power !

Reeves has got to be some 'Ideologically' driven individual to see headlines like this and still continue down her pathway and not resign. She is a woman who must be filled with hate in the same way as those who joined 'Khmer Rouge'

Thanks for the new thread!

I’m loving watching Kemi at PMQs. She is ferocious and really clear. My favourite part is when the camera cuts to Reeves and Starmer - they both look so uncomfortable and I swear they would run out if they could.

How long either of them have left don’t know but surely they will be gone within the next six months.

Who is left though?

I hope people will start to see the good work Kemi is putting in. She is holding a mirror up the the government and making them accountable whilst they they try to slither and writhe away from her questions. She has PM written all over her.

Is Claire Coutinho on many people's radar? I've just watched her in action in parliament and she's great.

I really like Clare C. She was really impressive at conference too. Rishi Sunak brought her into cabinet iirc.
