That turns my stomach 🤮🤮

Urgh yes to that as well. Gross.

SwirlyShirly · 03/12/2025 20:06

Snoring, sniffing, licking and eating with mouth open are my main ones.

But also when someone has music loud and you can hear the bass from a distance away, that drives me bonkers.

StruggleFlourish · 03/12/2025 20:41

Noisy, wet, chewing/eating sounds with lots of smacking and gulping.

Thisistemporary · 03/12/2025 20:44

Motorcycles.

stonebrambleboy · 03/12/2025 22:10

Yappy dogs

Annie Lennox

DH's alarm clock

Cutlery scraping on crockery. Properly gives me the rage.
Fire bells (especially if there are two that have different tones and you can hear them both) - my tinnitus goes berserk.
@RescueMeFromThisSillinessAnnie Lennox’s voice? 😮😮😮

My stepson eating! 🤢

gillybombilly · 04/12/2025 00:35

Someone constantly clicking the top of a ballpoint pen.

PolyCat · 04/12/2025 00:40

A knife sliding on wood. I can literally feel it in my teeth when I hear it. Sadly this means all my cutting boards are plastic and I only use wooden ones for charcuterie and special occasions

Tarkan · 04/12/2025 01:26

Finger clicking. Especially when it’s a whole crowd of people doing that instead of clapping.

People eating in an otherwise silent room. DH and DM are the worst for this. I’ll be enjoying some peace and quiet and they’ll sit beside me and start chomping or slurping on something right in my ear. I have to either turn on the TV or leave the room to cope with it.

Icequeen01 · 04/12/2025 06:53

Jazz or Opera music. It puts my teeth on edge!

Onefortheroad25 · 04/12/2025 07:24

Chairs dragging on floors. Lift the fucking chair!!
Hiigh pitch squealing from kids.
Coughing.
