Grabbed a roast chook on way home as didn't want to cook.
It looked small and shrivled when I opened the bag, thought it was overcooked.
But went to carve it and there was nothing there! Like 0.5cm of breat meat covering the ribs!
My first thought was 'poor bird, what was wrong with it' then annoyance at having no meat for tea! I didn't want to eat the legs as the meat was a weird colour and it just freaked me out!
