So we took the dc to see the new zootropolis movie. €80!! €51 for the tickets, it was the nicer, newer cinema, recline seats etc. the other cinema in our town is so old and all the chairs are sticky 😬 I thought ok…no worries it’s a treat we haven’t been to the cinema since august. 2 adults and 2 dc all tickets the same price. We left an hour early and with traffic and other local activities finding parking was awful. So we got there just on time. I wanted to pop to the shop and get cheaper popcorn etc. so I couldn’t do that €30 on all the popcorn and drinks and sweets. So that’s it €80…officially the most expensive cinema trip of my life! Anyone else have a stupidly expensive basic activity lately? Make me feel better 😅

I’ve paid £70 for the cinema on Christmas Eve but there are 7 of us going.

That sounds normal for where I live unfortunately. DS wants to see it tomorrow. It's on at midday. Cheapest for 2 adults and 2 tweens is €48, that's if we take one of the front 2 rows. After that it's anything from €60. After 6p.m. it gets really expensive! I've sort of got used to it but you're right, it's not a cheap trip out anymore.

That's expensive. We paid £14.60 for 4 of us to see Wicked at a London cinema a few weeks ago, but 2 of us had CEA cards so only paid for 2 tickets.

We pay silly prices for our swimming lessons (over £40 for a 30 min lesson) as it has to be done 2:1, and the nearest location is at a stupidly luxurious 4 star hotel pool.

yeah that’s not too bad I suppose, if I hadn’t have bought the food there it wouldn’t have been so crazy 🤪
