Who are your favourite Gogglebox people?

Pete for me (from Sophie and Pete) and Jenny (Jenny and Lee). I like them all to be honest, although Stephen can be a bit nasty.

It's my favourite Sunday night tv. Such a friendly and comfortable programme.

Pete and Sophie and the Siddiquis too. Jenny and Lee are too contrived now.

I like the two sisters too, they have such a lovely relationship with each other and their extended family seems so close.

I like most of them but the two new ladies from Edinburgh are awful, the one with the shorter hair is trying desperately hard to be a character and her exaggerated pan loafy accent goes right through me. I can say this because I’m from Edinburgh.

Names please!

The Siddiquis were my favourite - I loved their humour and they seemed like nice people as well. I went off them somewhat after an episode in which they watched some bloke trying to kill cane toads by bashing them against a wall and having trouble with the slippery little things. The Siddiquis laughed a lot, which I found a bit callous.

Pete and Sophie re my favourites.
I can't bear Giles and Mary. They don't even seem to like each other.

Giles and Mary

Giles and Mary are well past their sell by date. Mary has to play devils advocate all the time and it just doesn’t chime with me.

Giles and Mary are hilarious and so dry.
Pete and Sophie are funny but sometimes feel a bit false.
The Malones - the dad’s facial expressions kill me.

I think he adores her but it seems to me like she genuinely can't stand him. He irritates the skin off her.

Dont like Giles and Mary.

Giles and Mary are entertaining but also horrifying and a bit disturbing! The insight into their relationship and life is not positive! Having said that, Mary has some unexpected and hilarious reactions to things you would have sworn she’d disapprove of. Over the years I’ve come to see that Giles is actually quite annoying but Mary clearly has deep seated issues!

Apart from them, Pete and Sophie and the two sisters - why can’t I think of their names 🤦🏻‍♀️

The two sisters, sorry can't remember their names Armari ? I like them . Also like Giles and Mary. the two Geordie girls who act really thick ( or maybe genuinely are ? ) are irritating.

I love the three brothers - Tremaine, Tristan and Twayne. I love that the older one is like the sensible older brother. Heartbreaking a few weeks ago when he was commenting on the flags everywhere and how uncomfortable it was making him feel and that he thought we'd moved on from that.

I like the Siddiquis, Pete and Sophie and the Malones. I used to like Jenny and Lee but they've become a bit try hard lately with their "hilarious" pranks. The two Geordie girls get on my wick, I can't decide if they're genuinely that thick or just putting it on for the cameras.

The Nutties are also far too self aware now.

Sophie & Pete, Giles & Mary, Jenny & Lee and Ellie and Izzy. I always feel abit sorry for the Malone mum. Her husband acts like he doesn't like her. Perhaps that part of the act.

I've been thinking of starting a thread on one aspect of Gogglebox which infuriates me but I'll mention it here instead... Feet/shoes too close to their snacks. The Malones are especially guilty of putting their feet up only inches away from the snacks but I've seen others do it as well.

Yes I really liked Marcus and Mica, where did they go? Plus Steph and Dom?

Probably missing the point a bit but I also like their animals. Quite fond of all the Malones dogs, the Siddiquis cats, and I love the giant dog that lives with the newish middle class family whose name I don't kn ow.

Steph and Dom were very funny. Not always intentionally...

I like Simon and his sister (name escapes me). I love his humour and self-deprecation.

I would like to live in the Malone's house with a rotating crew of Rottweilers and supermarket cakes.

There is no one I really dislike. I have wondered if Abbie and Georgia really are as thick as they make out or if its an act though?
