can anyone recommend a really soft, cosy hoodie I could buy for Christmas for a 17 year old boy who can’t bear to wear anything uncomfortable? Thank you!

Have you tried the teddy fleece ones?

The borg fleece superdry ones are very soft and their ordinary sweatshirt material hoodies are soft too. Maybe pop to a store and have a feel of some?

Some of my kids have sensory issues too, and I found the hoodies from Smadug very soft and comfortable. They have lasted 5 or 6 years and still going strong too.

It's a nightmare having kids with sensory issues and things being online now so you can never quite tell what's going to work or not so I do sympathise.

Mountain warehouse is good. They have a lot of fleece and Borg lined ones in at the moment.

Thanks very much everyone for prompt help and all the suggestions. The mountain warehouse one looks ideal and a bargain, and there’s a branch nearby, so that will be easy. One grandson sorted :)

The Hollister hoodies are ridiculously soft, and stay soft!

I was in morrisons yesterday and saw lined, mens hoodies which looked very soft. I think they were lambretti brand and had a sale on.
