Has anyone ever had their Doc Martins repaired at Timpsons.

Hi my beloved Mary Jane DM’s broke.
The buckle snapped.
I heard Timpsons do repairs, I just wandered if anyone has used this service?

I've had shoes reheeled there before and they're good.

Yes. Had a zip replaced on some boots. Good service.

Yes. Fixed a broken strap on my DM mules.

Our local Timpson, in a cabin outside Tesco’s doesn’t do any repairs there. They are all sent off ‘somewhere’ .
I think you can send directly to DM’s for repair.

They’re funny about what they’ll repair and they can be very expensive - my DP was quoted £50 to repair the soles and heels on a pair of Clark’s shoes! Needless to say, he just bought a new pair. They’ll do a good job if you decide it’s worth it.

We had zip & soles replaced, cost £100, but still cheaper than buying a new pair. However they delayed / lost our order so they did it for free in the end. Good job and shoes running for 2 years after. Overall been used nearly daily for 7 years and still going strong!
