Can I withdraw an application to rent a property?

Hi, I did an application yesterday to rent a property after viewing it twice. I haven’t paid anything at all yet. Estate agent seems to think it will go through. I just don’t know if I like it/area anymore and have seen a few more places online I’d like to view. I am quite desperate though. Can I withdraw my application? Obviously I haven’t signed an actual tenancy agreement have I? I signed the application? Sorry I am totally new to this, never done it before. The estate agent hasn’t even said if the landlords have accepted yet. I feel really awkward about this for some reason!!

Yes you can, but next time consider those points in advance as this is a waste of everyone's time.

If there is no tenancy agreement then you can withdraw your application. Don't worry, you've not wasted anyone's time!

Yes of course! It’s just some bloke in an estate agents 😂 just say you changed your mind but be aware they might not want to take any more applications from you if they have loads of choice of renter.
