Hairdressing models - London 5 Dec

Would anyone be willing to be a hairdressing model for someone at hair dressing college, on Friday 5 Dec in Soho London? Need 2x volunteers for an updo! Willing to buy you a coffee for the inconvenience! Thank you!

There are several hair models groups on facebook where you can advertise for volunteers - they're very popular

(For anyone thinking of volunteering, you don't have to be a 'model' in the generally understood definition, you just have to be a person with suitable hair for what the trainee hairdresser is looking for - I get my hair cut for free as a model quite often, and I've got a face like a bag of spanners)

As an ex model myself, posts like these on model specific groups are extremely irritating. They don’t need actual models for these sort of things so expecting an actual model to travel all the way to their college/ salon/ event and give up their time for free for someone else’s benefit (when modelling is their profession) is like expecting a mechanic to fix your car for free. Just ask local people in local community groups who are within walking distance of the college and want a free hair cut/ colour/ style would suffice.

Op just ask in the local community. Posting on a large forum like this where people who use MN are from all over the country is not going to get people flocking to you. Nobody is going to want to travel miles and miles at their own expense for a free ‘up do’ or whatever. The term ‘models’ is also very misleading. Just ask local people within the community.
