What trainers to buy for ds for Christmas?

Thinking of buying trainers for ds this Christmas. Are there any sure fire hits this year? Possibly Nike p6000 ?

I would give him a gift card for Nike and tell him to custom design a pair on the website. You could put the gift card in an empty nike shoe box if you have one spare.
