50th birthday ideas for Christmas Day birthday husband!

Ideas wanted for a 50th birthday present for husband please.
Husband’s 50th on Christmas Day! His birthday is usually relatively forgotten about once everyone remembers to wish him happy birthday and merry Christmas!
We’ve already got a holiday booked beginning of next year so looking for something decent to get him from me and the kids. He wouldn’t appreciate anything trinkety or keepsake. He enjoys golf, food and wine.
Any ideas appreciated please.

I know you already have a holiday booked but I’d be looking at booking a night away and a wonderful foodie dinner somewhere. Even better if it has a golf course and a spa. Rockliffe Hall springs to mind as a starting point or you could go full Michelin and somewhere like Northcote

A really top end meal out on the holiday, something you wouldn’t normally do?

Can you get a wine tasting with food done at your house with some friends?

Wine tasting? If you are anywhere in the SE, Chapel Down does them with a dinner.

A lesson with a golf trainer?

Any equipment he wants but won't say as he doesn't need it?

It's my Dad's birthday on Christmas day too. He's older than 50, but also enjoys golf and good food. His usual ask is for golf balls for his birthday and tees for Christmas.
If you have a racecourse near you, we've previously done a day at the races between Christmas and New Year, but in one of the hospitality restaurants. So had our table for the whole day, three course meal and someone would come to the table to take our bets - it was great fun!
Gift wise, is he partial to a fancy watch? My Mum got my Dad an Omega for one of his big birthdays (40th or 50th). I also managed to find a watch that was made the year he was born for his 60th.
Other suggestions:
Rally driving day
Flying lesson
Golf coaching
Club membership

ETA: perhaps you could find a restaurant that does a wine pairing dinner menu.

My husband was 50 on the 23rd December a few years ago.

I found an artist and they painted our favourite place with us there (back view of us by a river).

It's beautiful and he loved it.
