Barry Island Amusement Park

DD really wants to go there. Can anyone help with where would be best to stay, as close as possible, but will travel if necessary.

Does she realise that there's not loads there? A couple of hours is plenty, and that's including fish and chips. For staying, I'd just get an Airbnb. There's a car park pretty much opposite and then you can just wander over.

Shes obsessed by rides (autistic) so i think she'd be happy with whatever is there but I will tell her.

It’s seasonal too, check carefully on opening hours. No hotels there, better off staying in Cardiff - does she like Dr Who, you can do a walking tour of filming locations. And it’s a nice place to stay for a day or two.

Gail’s Hotel is walking distance from the funfair, amusements, Marcos etc.

I took my kids over the summer and stayed in the Premier Inn. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the amusements
