Favourite yoto cards for six plus?

Hello,

we are currently big tonies fans and will still continue to use it.

However we have a few big hospital waits coming up and do a lot of longer train journeys to family with my almost six year old, so think we’ll pick up a yoto mini with the bigger kids pack. Is it still okay for an almost six year old?

she loves her factual tonies eg animal world, natural history museum, ladybird etc. I was wondering which similar yoto cards your 6+ year olds love.

DD is obsessed with all the Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl. She also loves the podcasts.

Her Yoto is her most used thing, she listens every morning as it’s her alarm and she will often listen during the day at weekends. She also falls asleep listening to stories so it’s on for a good 3+hrs most days

can I ask if you require a subscription to access the podcasts? How old is your DD?

We have all of the Roald Dahl tonies (& pocket book tonies) & also the Enid Blyton which are a massive hit - I’ll definitely pick up a few that yoto have which tonies haven’t done yet. That’s a good shout.

That’s great to hear about your yoto. Audiobooks definitely work for our household, but we definitely need something a bit more portable for travel, so the yoto mini looks great. Thank you

My DD is 6, no subscription for the podcasts. We haven’t bothered with the member service yet, she likes Yoto Daily, Story Shed and the drawalong things.
We used to use Cbeebies radio a lot she has outgrown that now.

I’ve bought my 8yo dd a Yoto for Christmas, we’ve never had one before and intend to get some of the factual cards about the body and history etc as I think she’ll enjoy them. I’ve also gone the opposite direction and got her the tiger that came to tea card for nostalgia reasons, I might get some Julia Donaldson as well. I’m also intending on getting the Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl ones.
