Ideas - defrosted loaf of bread

Clearing out the freezer and making space for Christmas. I've reluctantly taken out a loaf of bread (regular sliced wholemeal) to make way for the incoming festive goodies.

Any ideas on using up a whole loaf of sliced wholemeal bread?

Cheese on toast, on repeat til it's gone.

Bread pudding, croutons, bread crumbs. Or just list it on Olio and give it away.

Make it into breadcrumbs
Bread and butter pudding- butter it, sprinkle in nice things like chocolate chips, add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves or allspice, cover in egg/milk and cook.
toasted sandwiches
croutons

French toast

cheese on toast, beans on toast, egg on toast

Bread pudding or bread and butter pudding

make it into breadcrumbs to coat chicken

homemade stuffing is easy, ready fir the turkey ?

Bobotie - family favourite here

i would just work through the loaf making things like above then with toast for breakfast beans/cheese on toast etc it wouldn’t last long

Put the slices into a very low oven and forget about them for the day so they dry out completely and go slightly browner. Then you can store them in an airtight container and they keep for ages! Use like crispbreads.

if you want to go fancy, drizzle with a little oil and sprinkle on garlic, salt and paprika. Towards the end of the drying out process sprinkle with some parmesan or other dry cheese. Then you have some tasty snacks!

Thanks I should have said the loaf is from October. I froze it on the day on purchase. I know I could eat it slice by slice (kept in the fridge) but want some good ideas on a recipe.

Ooh I've just had a brain wave. I may make a savoury cheesy bread and butter pudding!
