Alternative to high chair for breakfast bar?

Can anyone suggest a safe seat for a child (3 in 3 months) to sit at a breakfast bar that’s 36 inches high? I thought I’d found the perfect thing in a Stokke Tripp Trapp but it’s not high enough. We have backless stools at the moment which are obviously unsafe. Want to move on from the highchair as it takes up so much room when it’s up. Thanks

Can you buy a stool with a back and (if necessary) add a well strapped down booster seat to it?

I’d look for a breakfast bar chair with a back and arms on. Do you have a budget?

We have the Kartell masters stool at our counter and they’re perfect for little ones as they have backs, sides and are wipe clean! You can probably find cheaper dupes online if just want for the toddler and not to replace the full set.

Thanks for your suggestions. I like the look of those Kartell masters stools but they’re a bit beyond my budget, which is under £50 😂

I think I might have to get something like in this photo and make sure she’s supervised when sitting in it.

Had the same problem a year ago op -

we just got her a small kids table and chairs instead and she ate at that for ages and we just sort of set it up so the at we were all sort of sitting together (sometimes I’d sit on sofa next to her or in the floor in a cushion at her table - not ideal but it worked for a while

my daughter is 4 now and had been just sitting on normal chairs at the breakfast bar for months now and I totally trust her - we have the ikea rosentorp I believe - they are sturdy and heavy so not easy for her to tip over

the little table is temporarily away as her baby brother likes to climb it and topple it and knock the chairs over

id go for a chair with a full back at least - no gap to stop being able to slip through

A mountain buggy pod would clip on and they're rated to 15kg (3 1/2 for a 50centile boy) ?

We used a clip on one when we only had a breakfast bar- think it was mee too brand but long time ago! Then got wooden high back bar stools from ikea once they could scramble up and down themselves / were too heavy for me to lift in and out (which was probably about 3 maybe 4)
