Has anyone else heard about this? Strangely, I always feel intimidated when I visit my own dentist..

Absolutely shocking. We should all be careful about who we share photos with.

Doesn’t sound like they’re changing in response to it, just making excuses, like: “The business said it had met its GDPR obligations, and said founders Hussain and Hassan were not part of the group, as it was overseen by the sales team leader, who at the time was their younger brother Ali.” Just their little brother then, nothing to do with them.

The article downplays the racism, it doesn’t even use the word. Calling people UNICEF, black patient hippos is racist.

I just can't believe how cruel people can be.

Honestly its a warning to be careful as to how we share our photos with these companies

Also 'Hassan and hussein' are not white people names. So a minority being racist to another minority. Great.

Now we know.

On the dental groups , all of us are mortified that this sort of behaviour is associated with our caring profession.

I have no doubt that our regulator , the GDC , as well as the ICO will have some serious concerns that may well have serious consequences as this behaviour is well below the professional standards expected .

The vast majority of the profession would not think this way at all in the first place.
