It's time 🎵🎶 well nearly, 2 hours and change until it drops. It should be 10.30.
Its my favourite time of year but as usual I will probably be useless and depend heavily on mumsnetters for help to decipher.

I searched and couldn't find another thread if there's one already up and running ill delete this.

Edited for proper link

I just need the tree topper and the seasons books. I just can't guess them!

dragoncheeselady · 13/11/2025 14:57

please can I have a clue for the two sea books on the side table

TheBirches · 13/11/2025 14:58

steppemum · 13/11/2025 14:55

got the painting!

just the mug. I have tried all sorts of things with all the clues and I can't get it

The mug has no relevance to the clue, although the pattern on the mug may help you think about what game is being referenced in the clue. One word. Not English.

(I'm done and am as spent as if I'd just run a marathon, rather than procrastinating a deadline...😀)

Nousernameforme · 13/11/2025 14:58

@steppemum I pmd you

It's one word, in another language. Nothing to do with mugs; think of what happens in the time between 2 things (between the first and second parts of a play, for instance). Then the answer is that word in another language.

The tree-topper clue is a one-word, recent, big award-winning book title. The important thing is the movement the books are making around the star.

I’m stuck on the board games, the calendar and the seasons one.

Thank you!
I tried every language but I did not have the right combination.
Got it now, and I've finished!

It's the same two word phrase repeated. Four words in total. Big prize winner, but not a recent one.

I’m stuck on the board games, the calendar and the seasons one.

What sensation do all the games titles hint at?

TheFairyCaravan · 13/11/2025 15:03

Got the seasons one. Just the other two to go now.

Nousernameforme · 13/11/2025 15:04

The board game you will kick yourself on, all the games follow a theme what is it.
The books what do those 4 seasons represent and what do you do at those places.
Calendar is say what you see when are they free

I’m stuck on the board games, the calendar and the seasons one.

board games is a good play on words.
look at the title. They all have the same theme.
Think of a word which describes you if you are interested in that theme

Look at the calendar and think of a quick way of describing when that person is free.

Nousernameforme · 13/11/2025 15:19

I only have the calendar one left and I think I am being very stupid. I keep trying Daytime, weekdays, Monday to Friday. Nothing works. I am baffled!!!!!

PamandBluebell · 13/11/2025 15:20

Hang on - got it!!!!!! Thank you

drspouse · 13/11/2025 15:20

I have read the four seasonal books one but I didn't really like it (but couldn't stop reading it, bizarrely).

I have another "not quite right" for the tree topper (I have put in one word, singular, it won't accept articles, plural etc.)
And likewise for the painting - I have put in 5 words but changing any of them gives a NOPE though changing the last word to singular/plural also gets a Nearly.

I also can't get the girl or her hair, the mug, or the laptop.

I did the same thing, but you need to be thinking of words to describe the areas that are ticked rather than the blank areas.
