How’s your Wednesday evening going? I’m staying with my folks this week as DF is having chemo & DM has Parkinson’s plus dementia with lewi bodies. Getting into the routine a little more now. It’s a difficult situation & I have lots of different emotions but it’s still lovely to be able to spend quality time with them. They’ve eaten but I haven’t so going to do a microwave chuck steak casserole with sliced potatoes on top in a bit & watch Corrie which is currently paused. DF is trying to compile a shopping list but the chemo makes him woolly headed 😢 DM is in bed - she’s sleeping more & more. I won’t be late myself tonight.

My 7 year old is up singing songs from Matilda the Musical ( she's autistic and adhd so limitless energy). My 25 year old has just finished work and is about to cook some chicken noodles, my 5 year old ( also autistic) is finally asleep after realising he came home with someone else's jumper from school and it doesn't smell like his so he had a huge meltdown. I'm about to make cheese on toast as its all I can be bothered to do! It's lovely of you to stay with your parents sorry about their health xx

I'm Munsnetting in between popping outside every 10 mins to see if the aurora has appeared. If it's not cloudy where you are maybe you and your DF could go and look?

I got in recently after been at Rainbows and then Guides all evening. Caught up on some guiding admin then got into bed. Now just doom scrolling and thinking about garden furniture!

I can’t sleep, I’m absolutely wired as I tend to be sometimes. I have SVT and so my heart is doing odd things and it’s making unable to settle.
