Addressing night dryness with big life changes looming

DD8 is nowhere near dry at night. The GP has recommended we try a bedwetting alarm (which we’re happy to) before referral. We’re fairly happy we’re doing everything else we can right now otherwise.

The issue now is timing. We’re due to move house after Christmas. Just to complicate things further, we’ll be staying with family once we complete the sale of our current house as there will still be a few weeks before the new one is ready. Otherwise, Christmas break would look like the best time to try the alarm.

I know big changes like moving house can set dryness back so I assume we’re best waiting until we’ve moved fully. If you’ve been in this position, is that accurate?

Don't overthink it,just start it and be prepared for a possible set back.
