She’s announced that she’s being treated for breast cancer. Poor woman, she’s only just recovering from a brain tumour.

And she has been a bit of a role model for eating healthily and exercising - plus her documentaries have shone a light on the menopause and hrt.

Such a shame, poor woman has been through enough.

I'm not one of her fans, but poor woman, really has had a lot of roller coasters. I hope she comes thru ok.

I have so much respect for her for bringing the menopause into normality. And I'm so sorry to hear that she is going through this so soon after her brain tumour surgery. I wish her well. And remind every woman to go to their mammogram screening.

I really like Davina. She comes across as very kind in the Long Lost Family programme. Life is so cruel to throw this at her. Fingers crossed that she fares well and the treatment is successful.
