On Monday I am heading for a solo four day visit to Bath, not been back to my home town for quite awhile ,It doesn’t look the town i knew as a young man,
Any recommendations for eating out around the city area now, I know the Cosy Club &, Lamb & Lion pub, hoping to try a Schwartz burger to see if they are as nice they were in the 70s.

Schwartz all the way. Though last time I was in there I looked at the price of the burgers and got chicken pieces instead. My budget is more take a packed lunch and add a Ben’s Cookie on top.

My boys love the new burger place, smash I think, on Milton street, botanist is nice and you can people watch for ages, a pastry from Bertino is always fabulous! Outside Bath we are really liking Ferkins farm shop near BoA, and the Tollhouse in Holt. Enjoy!!
