He won't and he wont

JacknDiane · 06/11/2025 19:33

He bloody better

MissMoneyFairy · 06/11/2025 19:39

Ordered to go or asked?

Florally · 06/11/2025 19:46

Maybe they knew this was coming and this is why he was stripped of the title?

medievalpenny · 06/11/2025 19:46

Of course he won't. They have no powers to compel him.

GetOffTheRoof · 06/11/2025 19:47

MissMoneyFairy · 06/11/2025 19:39

Cannot be compelled any more than we could compel an American to appear before a Select Committee. We could ask, they could refuse.

Monty27 · 06/11/2025 19:47

Maybe he'll go on the run lol

unsync · 06/11/2025 19:49

I wouldn't in his shoes, not until they've called all the American 'elite' who are involved, starting with Trump.

menopausalfart · 06/11/2025 19:49

He'll be in great company.

Exactly. This is classic distraction tactics.

Stir up the Americans against Andrew and they'll forget to ask Trump to release the Epstein files.

Viviennemary · 06/11/2025 19:50

I doubt he'll go.

TemporarilyCantDoMyself · 06/11/2025 19:51

Maybe he could go and dob Trump in it. Not got much left to lose really.
That'd be good.

Topseyt123 · 06/11/2025 19:56

He won't go. They can't make him and he'll just ignore it as much as possible, much as he fully deserves what he is getting.

Perhaps the Americans should also be starting to question the other people also involved in the Epstein saga. There were quite a number of them, beginning perhaps with Trump. He is also implicated.

ShesTheAlbatross · 06/11/2025 19:58

Why would he go? Why would anyone? I’m absolutely no fan of his, but following his lawyers’ advice (which will be to not go) is what almost any rational person would do.

Afaik, no suggestions thus far that Trump and AMW had any overlap at Epstein events etc.

Rather agree with this - I wouldn’t go to the US voluntarily at all at present, let alone for a legal matter

SheilaFentiman · 06/11/2025 20:07

It’s rather disingenuous (DM…) to include the word “ordered” i the first sentence when the letter is a request for cooperation

JohnTheRevelator · 06/11/2025 20:10

I don't imagine for one moment that he'll go. Why? Because I get the impression that he honestly thinks that he has done nothing wrong.

Joeninety · 07/11/2025 21:44

With all this nastiness that's come to light, people forget that Epstein was a socialite billionaire pillar of the US financial world, feted and associated with completely above board by many other high ranking people.

Cadenza12 · 07/11/2025 21:50

Haven't they got one or two US citizens they could question?

"Nastiness"???

He was a rapist.
