Does anyone know about car warranties? Please help I don’t know what to do and really stressing

I bought a 6 year old car 3 months ago that came with a 6 month warranty. The engine light came on the other day and I noticed the car was jumping. The light went off after 2 days, but something still feels off with the car. I called the warranty provider to let them know and they told me to take it to the garage for a diagnostic. The garage has now said they can’t find any issues and that the car is running fine. But I know it’s not. The problem is, I can’t drive the car until it’s fixed, but they’re insisting it’s okay to drive. I’m really worried that if I start driving it and the problem happens again, the warranty provider will just say “tough” because I continued to drive it. What should I do? Any advice?

Is there another garage you can take it to for a 2nd opinion? i bought a car where the engine light kept coming on and the dealer said the car was fine when I took it in for tests. But I insisted it wasn't as the light came back on after they reset it, so they sent it to another garage and they found that the catalytic converter needed replacing and I had no further issues.

Why did you continue to drive it after the CEL came on?

Was the car running fine while the CEL was on?

What makes you think it isn't running fine now?
