I have had some very terrible things happen to me in my life.
I often start thinking about some of the things over and over, I get afraid, i can't sleep, Im jumpy.
I went to a couple of therapists. One of them cried when I told her what happened to me. I was nearly comforting her. The second therapist sighed and said "that is a lot of work". The third one got annoyed with me , she said "i feel we aren't progressing at all".
I don't want to use therapists anymore for a while at least.
I want to find tools that I can use to help myself.
Can anyone reccomend any good techniques/books/podcasts etc to help overcome trauma?
