Yup, particularly at this time of year.

It’s absolute bedlam when the Christmas market is on. It’ll be more bearable for the next couple of weeks but it’s always pretty busy.

I was in Bath on Saturday. It was busy, but not unbearably so (it was raining heavily though). A couple more weeks then it’ll be crazy busy. Car parks are always heaving so go early if you are driving.

It's always busy but worse if the rugby team are playing at the Rec. Not sure when the Christmas markets start but avoid it at all costs then as it's insanely busy.

RoundandSad · 05/11/2025 13:47

Thanks looks like a good time to go then

no rugby and i hope a bit too early for markets

now to find a hotel with parking!

I think England A are playing at the Rec on Saturday

Pianoaholic · 05/11/2025 16:31

Definitely go before the market is on.
As a local, I avoid it then!

I can't keep up with rugby teams

That's a pain msybe we should have a rethink. Can't book anything till we're both home from work anyway. Will look at the match timings and stuff

fancied the city sightseeing bus but that's probably a nuisance if there's lots of coach traffic we would drive up late on Friday so that's okay and leaving late on Sunday will be okay maybe it's a bit squashed for timing though
