Michelin restaurant in London.

Had thought I would get DD tickets to an Arsenal home game for Christmas but that seems an impossible task! So my next quest is a recommendation for a Michelin star restaurant in London. Are there any that are particularly recommended? I think not 'fine dining' types though.

@CurlewKateIve seen the sauces in Waitrose and they are expensive but if they’re really good I might try it.

I'm lucky enough to have eaten at quite a few Michelin star restaurants, and our current absolute favourite is Sketch. The food, service, atmosphere and place were all incredible.
@trying29 we're going to Core in January and are really looking forward to it

Second recommendation for Luca. Well positioned for a DD in east London. They do a three course bar menu that is very good value and should leave you with enough change to have a cocktail or two.

Core is great but will be about five times the price of a lunch at Luca! And Notting Hill is a long way from east London.

Brat also a good recommendation . Or St John round the corner from Luca which is the very opposite of “fine dining” in atmosphere, but has excellent food. Not a place for vegetarians though.
