I posted this earlier in the week under a different (and boring title) and I don’t think many people read it, so am sharing again in case any MN’s need a smile …
When my foster daughter first came to live with us she was petrified of men.
She’s turned her life around. She is now at university. She was home for the weekend and told us this …
She has been out on a number of dates with a guy recently who she really liked. She was on a video call to him a few days ago and he started talking about the fact that women can’t do certain things that men can, and that women can be dramatic.
She said something along the lines of “You think women are dramatic? I’ll show you dramatic”! She then immediately hung up on him and blocked him.
My husband and I laughed out loud when she told us this. We love the fact that she’s grown into a strong and independent young woman who knows what she wants in life and what she will and won’t put up with!
