Christmas Themed Staycation

I am driving myself mental looking for a Christmas themed staycation that we can book any time from the 15th Dec onwards.

I really want somewhere immersive that has all the lights, activities and decorations to keep the kids happy (4 and 16). DH wants somewhere with a hot tub and I can't find anywhere that seems to have both, within budget. Centre parcs pricing is insane.

I'm considering doing 2 nights at Ribby Hall and then 2 nights somewhere with a hot tub which seems a bit silly?

Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere amazing? Are Away Resorts any good? Hoburn?

Bluestone has loads of Xmas stuff and a spa?

Are you anywhere near tattersall lakes? That sounds like what your looking for and it's Away resorts it has log cabins or caravans with hot tubs plus lots of activities. If this isn't very local to you I imagine other Away resorts would do the same.

Ribby Hall spa has a hot tub, or is it less spa, more hot tub under the stars that he is after?

@Sillysoggyspaniel I really love the look of Bluestone, but it's about 4 hours driving from us and I'd love to go when the weather is a bit warmer so we can visit the beach and Folly Farm!

@Teacup40 I have been looking at Tattershall Lakes but I wasn't sure if it had a good rep? Have you visited?

@SucksToBeYou yes, definitely more hot tub under the stars unfortunately for me 😂Ribby do have hot tub cottages but for the price they look really dated

I have yes I went in the summer it was clean and the staff were nice, it does get busy though but if you don't mind that then you'll be fine. It's in a lovely location with nice views over the lake my only complaint was the pool was way to small for the amount of people that visit.

Oh also if you decide on tattersall book your activities as soon as you can things get booked up really quickly!
