How long do you give a movie before turning it off?

Going through all the streaming services and tidying up the "Continue watching" and apparently I give a film no more than 8 minutes before turning it off...which I fear is a little harsh 😂

I look it up in Wikipedia after 10 -15 minutes and then make a decision 🙂

Six minutes on average I think but have been known to do it within sixty seconds.

my attention span is shot to bits since having DS and I increasingly end up watching things I’ve seen before because I know I will enjoy it and it won’t waste my time 😅

I think 8 minutes is generous! 🤣 I must be demanding 😬

My average is 4 minutes (one was 37 seconds 😂) so I'm quite pleased to hear I'm not alone!

I've always said I can tell a good film (or one I'm going to like) within roughly 3 minutes.

Normally I will give a film 20-25 minutes @IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece but I can pretty much tell if a film is going to be any good within the first 10 minutes.

Well, I tend to MN or play a game online, so the film often tends to continue running while I'm distracted. But I rarely put a film on because I know if I do I need to put my iPad & phone down & actually watch it & there's rarely anything I want to watch enough to fo that 🤣hence a full TiVo box of recordings not watched 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️.

Time for a big delete so it can record a bunch of Christmas stuff for me to not get around to watching 🙄🙄
