Where do the menfolk in your life buy their clothes?

My DH (late 30s) has said he would quite like some new clothes for Christmas - for casual weekend and evenings mostly.

He's not one for flashy labels or brands but I still want to go for some good quality things that will last (tshirts, jeans, jumpers).

Could anyone recommend any stores I can browse 😀

John Lewis for T-shirts and jumpers
Ariat for denim and sweatshirts. Next if ariat is too expensive
TKMaxx for underwear/pyjamas - various brands

Shoes is the tricky thing for my DH. Where to get them and what to get! Everything seems too young or too old.

Next, Passenger, Gant, Gap.

Gets his shirts made when he goes to HK.

I think Next is pretty good quality generally. Their stuff does last and doesn’t shrink in the tumble drier

My mid twenties sons buy Next and River Island.

Next. Though I'm the one who gets them because he'd live in the same things otherwise, hates clothes shopping for himself 🙄

Nigellastwinklylights · 04/11/2025 10:48

My Dh doesn’t do clothes shopping, so every once in a while I take him to John Lewis (with the promise of free cake in the cafe). Gets it done and dusted in a couple of hours. He’s older than your DH, but I still think you’d find something suitable.
