Garamousalata · 04/11/2025 10:30

Ozark
Breaking Bad
Better Call Saul
The Good Wife

DarkskiesStar · 04/11/2025 10:31

Greys Anatomy - Disney- an oldie but very long running. I sit doing jigsaws whilst it’s on in background.

crappycrapcrap · 04/11/2025 10:34

Monster on Netflix - pretty dark but I thought lead was a great actor

Gkgfkgg · 04/11/2025 10:35

For some humour and light relief - Parks and Rec

ringsnthings · 04/11/2025 10:40

Last Tango in Halifax
Only Murders in the Building
Fat Friends

Latenightreader · 04/11/2025 10:43

Tenko is an older series but still superb. Three series plus a episode set five years after.

Our Friends in the North

People's Century, a 20 episode documentary from the 1990s with interviews from ordinary people involved with major events. One of my favourite series.

the80sweregreat · 04/11/2025 10:44

Rosemarys baby , mini series with Jason Isaacs ( not the old original film , although that is good too)
Think it’s on channel five catch up.
Life begins , Netflix ( on old drama , but not too bad)
Riot women ( I player , bbc one)

Silverbirchleaf · 04/11/2025 10:48

Shakespeare and Hathaway - (IPlayer) - absolutely love it.

spiderlight · 04/11/2025 10:49

This is Us - currently on Channel 4 on demand. There are six seasons. It's very American but I enjoyed it.

Blue Lights and Trigger Point are both very gripping, if you're after something a bit more gritty.

Rexinasaurus · 04/11/2025 10:54

Rizzoli & Isles - a Boston version of Death in Paradise / Midsummer Murders

Hello OP,

I would start with THE DIPLOMAT on Netflix with Keri Russell, Rufus Sewell, Rory Kinnear, Allison Janey, Aidan Turner and the rather lovely David Gyasi ... you will not be disappointed.

Three series set in London based at the US Embassy and US Ambassador Residence in London Regents Park.

// David Gyasi :: The Diplomat

Will think of a few more for you too ...

HTH

David Gyasi as Austin Dennison in The Diplomat Season 1.

David Gyasi Details Kate and Dennison’s Connection in ‘The Diplomat’

“They’re both people that understand that they’ve been gifted these positions of authority and power.”
