Does anyone have any experience with the charity The Migraine Trust? Were they helpful? They offer remote doctor's appointments. I have been having awful migraines regularly for a couple of years now. I've tried painkillers from the pharmacy, supplements, ice packs, etc., but no luck.
I wondered if they could help me with something to prevent the migraines, as I don't really want to try any more painkillers in case I get medication overuse headaches. Do I need to be officially diagnosed with migraines by my GP first, or can the charity diagnose and prescribe?
I've given up on my GP as they're so unhelpful and dismissive.
