Help! Is this skirt appropriate for a wedding?

We’re going to a wedding tomorrow, had a dress sorted but I’ve completely ruined it whilst ironing it😭
Curren trying to find an alternative outfit with things I already own and wondering if this skirt would be ok with a black top? I know the rule is no white/ cream to a wedding but figured the polka dots make it more suitable?
