When did you stop asking people not to kiss baby’s face?

Hello

I know guidance is not to let people kiss baby’s face due to infection risk, RSV and cold sores etc. Anyone know how long it’s advised you keep this up, especially if it’s published somewhere?

Thanks!

Forever. There is no need for anyone to kiss a child's face.

Mine are in their twenties now and I do t think it was a thing when they were babies. If it was. I wasn’t aware of it.
So my babies were kissed from birth, by us, by siblings, by relatives.

I never asked people to not kiss my babies. Both were and still are fine.

I asked a lady not to kiss my oldest on the face but she said 'she's his wife and at 28 he's old enough to make his own choices'. Obviously I went NC.

I didn’t know that I was supposed to warn people not to kiss my babies.
