Closing UC claim part way through month?

I will be closing my UC claim a week - 10 days before my payment date. Will I still get a payment as UC is paid in arrears? So obviously not a full payment but would there be a payment up until the close date or does it just end?

Nope they don't do part month payments. Your payment is based on your circumstances on the last day of your assessment period.

so the payment i got last month is the last?

No they dont do part payments. It just ends.

I have just looked up my assessment is 16th October to 15th November. So if I close my claim on 13th November I would get nothing for the whole month?
