Hope your Wednesday evening is shaping up well. I’m watching The Repair Shop as Corrie has been replaced with footie. Just finishing tea ( very late tonight) which was originally going to be pie & mash but ended up as southern fried chicken breasts with chips & peas. Still got some of my AF cider which I opened when I got home from work. DD16 is, as ever, on the phone to her GF. The clock change always throws me off for at least a week - so sleepy! Although it’s also the fact that I did a crazy shift. Still, after tomorrow I’m off until Bonfire Night.

Not long got the kids into bed, later due to half term. Dp and I have just put on an episode of Generation Kill, I’m not enjoying it in the slightest but as I’m going make dp watch Aileen Wuornos tomorrow I thought I better sit through one of his crap programmes tonight. I usually enjoy war programmes/films but this is utter shite. I won’t be far off to bed to be honest, migraine creeping in.

I have been off unexpectedly today as DS had D and now the V has started…. Praying it passes swiftly and his sister dodges it as he is being baptised Sunday! I also have a tonne of stuff to get done!!!!
currently in bed with him as he’s unsettled and I’m trying to catch any V before the whole bed needs stripping! 🫠

We’re all currently watching Celebrity Traitors: DD (13) is drawing a dog while she’s watching, DH and I are partially working, and the cat is giving herself an Everything Wash 😆

Oldest has just come home from a day in a sculpture park, where he and some friends were invited by an artist friend

DH and youngest are on the sofa watching The Orville

I'm looking at Back Market for reconditioned laptops - the one I'm typing on doesn't charge reliably, the shift key and the 1 key don't work and the internal wifi is broken so I have to use a USB wifi dongle. I was going to wait until DH had a new job sorted for a new one, but I got both a pay bonus and an HMRC repayment this week, so I'm going to do it now. I want a machine with decent speakers as I'm sick of having to use a bluetooth speaker or headphones to listen to/watch anything on this, but looking on Back Market, as new laptops with good speakers are too expensive.
