Cheapest overnight travelodge type hotel Greater London.

I need to stay somewhere in Greater London next week with my 2 children for one night. We will have an early start the next day, and will have a car collect us (which we do not have to pay for so the distance doesn’t matter much), and we can be anywhere in Greater London.
We live south of London, so it would be easier if it were closer to the south.
I know it could be costly, but where would be good to start looking?

I think the Heathrow hotels are often quite cheap

The Z hotel chain is really good

Any of the outer borough premier inns or travel lodges. The Swanley one (SE) might be cheaper or Sidcup maybe (opposite the station)? Or look on air b and b, often cheaper than a hotel.
Or Croydon area.

Ibis on Bath Road has always been the most reasonable option when I've had to stay near the airport over the last couple of years

we always stay premier inn southwark station. Great location

There is a Premier Inn right next to Lewisham station. It's easy to get to from London Victoria and London Bridge as well as by bus or DLR.
