Bake for a nice pastry/coffee
La Taberna for tapas (although down a flight of stairs/not accessible in case that’s an issue for your mum)
Whitehall is a lovely restaurant and has something for everyone
Souz le nez/kendalls bistro for French food.
Living Italy for Italian, or San Carlos.
Uyare for Indian - it’s got a roof terrace as well which is nice for drinks/photos if DD19 cares about that sort of thing.
If you want something more casual, Bundobust is great for Indian street food and good beer.
Cut and craft for steak!

Theres also a restaurant/bar at the top if trinity which is the city centre shopping centre - its relatively new so not been but great views.

things to do - water taxi, royal armouries, Thackray medical museum.

The Oxford Place by the Town Hall for lovely posh food (all gluten free but you would never know it). Eat Your Greens for the most amazing vegetables you have ever tasted.

Thank you for those suggestions We’re booking the royal armouries and Thackray museum
