Are they worth getting? Our boiler is going to die soon so looking at options before it happens!!!

Ah that’s probably it. I don’t have an airing cupboard so the space has been used for other things. I’ve just got a combi on the wall and it’s been there since I moved in 20 years ago

I do miss the airing cupboard at my mums house!

I often visit a house that had a HP installed about 18m ago. The previous boiler was still working alright, btw, but they liked idea of HP.
Pluses
...the heating is on all the time so it isn't such a freezing visit
... they think it's great, have solar panels for lekki help

(neutral): it's just as noisy as any other heating system when it comes on

Negs
...Installation Tore the house apart in so many places, still need many repairs (but owner is rennovating lots of rooms, anyway)
...No truly hot rads ever means if my gloves or jacket get wet (rainy winter we are having) even after hours on the radiator, they aren't dry. I hate this part, tbh!!
... The HP owner doesn't have/want a T.Dryer so yeah, takes days to get their clothes dry in winter (they say that's not an issue)
