I bought an Ooni stone from Lakeland - I have washed it.

Looked on the box and there's no instructions so I washed it under hot water and gave it a scrub with soap.

White floury bubbles are appearing so I came to internet and on googling I'm told I shouldn't ever use water or soap on the Ooni stone.

Have I ruined it?

I couldn’t trust it. If water has seeped into the stone then heat could cause it to crack.

Ooni customer services are very responsive. I'd ask them direct. I asked a question on reddit and Ooni responded and sent me a replacement part (I had a fault with the gas regulator) before I had even considered contacting them.
