Hi, first time poster and wasn’t sure where to put this. I was wondering if others had been to see the Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe Musical in the past few years and could tell me if you think a 6yo would enjoy it please?
My Mum is trying to pull out (despite her buying the tickets for my birthday for us to go to as ‘we never do anything together’.. can’t think why) and she thinks my 6yo would enjoy it instead but I’m not sold!
Any feedback would be appreciated, and I know all kids are different of course. Thanks in advance x

It’s quite dark and scary (especially end of first half and start of second) so I’d say no for a 6 year old. It’s a brilliant show but I’d say junior age children are better suited.

Thank you. I’m a fan of the BBC series and even that I think might be too much which was why I wasn’t sure about it all being right in front of her eyes. I showed her a couple of clips from the musical and she seemed to like it but I think those bits you mention may ruin theatre for her 🙈😂 thanks for the input x

We saw it last week and my 9yo loved it. I didn’t think it was very scary and it also ends happily. I would take your child and enjoy the show, it was brilliant.

I took my son when he was around 5 or 6 and he wasn’t scared at all!

My 7 year old saw it and said ‘it was magical to him’. Didn’t think it was too scary. I
