Just that really - And I wasn't looking for anything but just noticed, it was really big news but as i've been browsing sky news and bbc news etc, theres nothing, do you think they've been told not to report on it anymore?

Listen to Today Radio 4 about 8.20am and it's about the wealth of the Royal Family - mind boggling.

Needmorelego · 23/10/2025 08:58

Is there anything different to report?
Maybe he is hiding away like we (society) want him too.

It is but still opaque and no one knows where his money is coming from

Maybe it's just a case of the reporting of this undeniably important issue getting back into proportion.

I'm sure quite a few people have found the seemingly wall to wall RF/PA coverage quite handy if they have wanted the media to not oay too much attention to other events.

CountFucula · 23/10/2025 09:30

They will now report on the King’s trip to the Vatican. They will piss him (his maj) off and lose access if they overshadow the trip with more Andrew stuff.

BigFatLiar · 23/10/2025 09:32

Good, don't care.

I haven't looked today but he has been on the front pages of several newspapers in the last few days (I have heard it mentioned when they do the front page summary on the Today show).

This article references various articles about him - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm2e1lzme51o

What new angle is there today that you think they should be reporting on?

I don't, just find it strange its gone from 100mph to 0

There isn't anything new to report. He's been headline news for days (still the second story in on the Daily Mail online and on The Times top ten stories) and there are other important issues that have replaced him as the top story for a while. He'll be back up there if anything new happens.

That's called News. It moves on because new things happen every day. Every hour even.

Remember the Charlie Kirk shooting? Where's the coverage of that? What about the Gaza ceasefire? What about the war in Ukraine - no front page coverage there despite the fact it's still very much ongoing.

If there is nothing new to report, then do you expect them to keep rehashing yesterday's news? Don't you think that would get tedious?

There are plenty of other things going on in the world which are of equal or more importance, so I'm not sure why they would keep talking about this particular story if there is nothing new to add.

I'm sure that they will report on the subject again if and when there is a development for them to actually report on.

Not everything has to be a conspiracy.

ELO10538 · 23/10/2025 10:32

Has anything new happened?
Nothing worse than the media re-hashing the same old stuff. The punters don't like it and switch off.
