What is this in my throat?

White stuff. I've also got a feeling of a lump in my throat and my ears are blocked and ringing

Without a photo it's hard to tell. is the white stuff pus aka infection?
or perhaps oral thrush? I have had oral thrush a few times in my life, when I have mixed antibiotics with my asthma inhaler.
