How to actually stay asleep during the night

I seem to wake up more than every hour in the night and it’s doing my nut in. I have an Apple Watch that tells me this and I always wake up feeling unrefreshed. Please fire away with tips on how to stay asleep!

Get really tired in the day.
Have a routine of going to bed and getting up at the same time every day.
If you have something on your mind, write it down or say it out loud before you go to bed.
Make sure you are completely comfortable in bed - not too hot, cold, in a draught, no twisty pyjamas.

Eliminate all noise and light.
Have a gentle, winding down routine before you go to bed.

Teach yourself a way of getting back to sleep quickly when you do wake up - sip of water, don't look at the clock, have a wee if you need one then turn over, plump up pillow and think of something boring.

magnesium gycinate
L-theanine
Saffron

These taken together has really helped my sleep, I was staying awake for hours in the night and the combination of these three has really helped
