What makes you like someone (non romantically)?

I was thinking about what draws me to someone new (non romantically), what makes me feel I'd like them. If
I had to name top 3, they'd be: curiosity (clearly interested in people and the world around them); open-mindedness (not judgemental) and something a bit quirky about them (maybe mannerisms, dress sense or area of knowledge). What would your top 3 be?

Authenticity, authenticity and did I say authenticity

I agree with your three OP.
I like quirky people, people who like to have a laugh and a joke, inquisitive people, non judgemental people, and people who seem interested in me and my opinions obviously! 😂

Its a thing. Not being mean helps.

Kindness, intelligence...and being on the same wavelength as me. The latter one is difficult to describe but I think it comes down to not being pushy about their own ways of doing things and their own beliefs but meeting me halfway and being intuitive.

Enthusiastic, chatty and easy to talk to

It's hard to say I think compatibility is a big one, so just enjoying the same kind of things or at least there being some cross over so that you can enjoy shared activities whether that is painting the town red or a quiet mooch around an art gallery followed by afternoon tea. Shared values is often important but at the same time you need some differences otherwise it is just a bit dull and unchallenging. A sense of humour is good as well as authenticity, I don't mean being tactless but someone who isn't putting on a big social mask which I think understandably happens a lot these days but I definitely prefer someone who is more quietly themselves than someone who is overly bubbly, complimentary and ingratiating.

Genuine, non judgemental, friendly
