Better than Butlins but not as expensive as Centre Parcs

Is anyone here able to recommend a resort type holiday that is more upmarket than Butlins but doesn't cost as much as Centre Parcs.

There must surely be something in between. Some happy medium. Something with catering laid on if required but not expensive chains on site.

Finlake.
Absolutely awesome and not very pricey.

Also, the European Center parks can work out cheaper, even with transport.

We love Finlake in Devon and Ribby Hall near Blackpool.
(We also absolutely love Butlins and are just back from a Mon-Fri break at Skegness - genuinely can't beat the value!)

Bluestone is great but not far off centre parks prices these days (thanks for ruining that MN!)

I loved Crieff Hydro and would go again if it wasn't so far away.

Personally we've enjoyed Butlins (Minehead) but you've got to accept it for what it is. It pissed down the whole time we there so was grateful that most activities for kids are included in the price.

There's some nice places on forest holidays but all smaller sites.

Haven and Parkdean caravan parks. Also a smaller chain in the New Forest.

European centerparcs for sure - I HATE uk CP but so excited to go to Belgium at half term. Holland was soooo calm and fresh and quiet with lots to do too. Can’t wait!

Sandybrook in the Peak District. Clean, swimming pool with some other activities and lots of local attractions
