Bamboo Mattress Topper - how to clean

My dickhead puppy peed on my mattress topper, he’s quite small (lab) but it was a lot of pee. topper is kingsize, is this a throw it away situation or can it be cleaned?

Launderette. You'll be fine.

Will it fit into washing machine? There’s a large washer at a nearby petrol station, how big a drum would it need to be? How do I dry it?

Does it say you can wash them, its quite thick

Instructions say not to get them wet.

Enzyme cleaner and lots of elbow grease. Get only the minimum parts of it wet to clean it

I would throw it away and get another one, and stop your puppy from going upstairs altogether.

I would risk it, put it on a quick/gentle wash and hope for the best. Better than throwing it out without even trying to clean it.

I have the same topper as you, OP and they're absolutely massive. I really doubt that even the massive launderette washers would be able to take it. I have periodically taken off the outer layer and washed it, but really I cannot see that you'll be able to get the foam part clean again. I'd have a look round to try to find special offers or discounts on a new one if I were you.
