Ok so I ordered 3 items from vinted the locker that came up was one local to me so i selected it. I placed the orders. A few days later i was driving along and i noticed the locker wasnt there anymore. I contacted vinted who said if the locker is gone evri will send it to a different locker. That made me relax..I checked tracking and showed parcels out for delivery.. 5 days later the tracking was still showing as out for delivery. I phoned evri..couldnt speak to a human so i used their webcam which ai just kept telling me my parcel is out for delivery. I managed to find an email for evri and i got a reply. The reply said that the parcel couldnt be delivered so was on its way back to the sender..the problem is evri never updated the tracking to show it wad going back to the seller. Suddenly i recieved a notification that my item had been delivered and i had 2 days to raise a complaint. I raised a complaint to say I never recieved the item and that it was sent back to the seller. Vinted messaged back and refused my complaint as said the tracking never showed as being sent back to seller so they cant refund me. Im fuming! It was their fault in the first place for not removing the locker that was no longer there off their website and im fuming at evri for not updating the tracking. I asked vinted to contact evri to confirm that it was sent back to the seller but they said they can only go by what the tracking says and not evri themselves. The items didnt cost much in total came to 26 pounds but its the principle of it they shouldnt get away with robbing me. Also the seller got the money so i was the only one out of pocket. Can i take them to court? Both evri and vinted are in the wrong

Opening a small claims court case will cost more than the item.

You could try but it would cost more than you’ve lost I suspect even in small claims.

Can you not contact the seller if the items have been returned?

Also check if they are back on sale and if so report them as that proves you never received them.

I tried but they are not responding..I guess they have their money and their item back do they can resell

Thanks I might do it just because of the principle of it

If you win you can claim your court costs back.

I would be speaking to a manager at both companies. Evri can still update their tracking, and I think you need to speak to someone different at vinted as that sounds a load of nonsense (tracking can be notoriously wrong and this will happen all the time so they can speak to Evri).
