I went yesterday to Aldi for their wooden toy event, got there 5 mins after store opening to find people leaving with trolleys full of toys. I went in and got the 2 things I wanted, fine. I’ve been on vinted today and seen listings where people are selling the toys for 3 or 4 times the price!! I cannot believe how selfish people can be, I know there’s no rules against and it’s easily done but surely people must think it’s not ok? If people stopped buying them off the vinted sellers then I suppose it wouldn’t be an issue but they are! I don’t know what the point of this post is really 🤣 other than I’m just amazed at how profiteering people can be!!

There was a thread yesterday about this.

You could say it’s people doing what they can to make a living, or you could say it’s profiteering. I know which one I think.

Oh sorry didn’t see the thread yesterday! Yeah I don’t think it’s hard up people trying to make a living. There’s much more honest ways to do that then make money off kids toys, which let’s face it, I’m not buying Aldi toys because I have loads of money! I think that’s what gets me, people buy these toys who are not flush with cash for their kids, so these people are taking the opportunity away from parents to buy their kids decent nice toys for affordable prices

It’s just pure greed.
