If so, please could you give me some good ideas? My granddaughter is 16 months at the moment and I'm looking for Christmas presents!

My DD will be 20 months old at Xmas and we are going to get her a play kitchen, some accessories for her Ollie Ella puppy which she loves, a couple of puzzles and sticker books (big hits for her currently) and maybe a nice doll pram

Oh lovely, thank you! She's having a play kitchen for Christmas so I'm getting vegetables for that! I haven't heard of the Ollie Ellie puppy - they're expensive, aren't they? Hope one doesn't suddenly land in my basket! She hasn't got any sticker books but I think she'd like that, thanks. Where did you buy them from? Thanks for the recommendations.

Ah yes then any "accessories" for the play kitchen is a great idea! My daughter has a set of wooden cakes she enjoys playing with and a wooden coffee machine! Both cheap from Early Learning Centre. Yes the puppy is quite ££ but great quality - that being said, my DD is massively into stuffed toys, but not all of them are. Sticker books - I always buy the Little First Stickers by Usborne ones from Amazon and they're fantastic. They have sooo many different ones available. I'm also thinking of getting her the Fischer Price Little People Farm as have heard good things.

My dd is currently 18 mo this and this is what she like:

Wooden bus with little people

Magnetic tiles

A toy baby that has a tooth brush and you can brush the babies teeth

V-Tech pop and play Elephant

Fisher Price toy house

Megablocks table

Wooden farm giant puzzle

Ive just seen Aldi is having a wooden toy sale which I know my daughter would love. You should check it out.

My now 20 month old is getting a play kitchen. I've also been at the Aldi wooden toy event this morning and picked up quite a lot there- mainly smaller stuff like groceries and pans for her kitchen, a cleaning set, a doll's high chair. We're also getting her a toy Henry the hoover and some other bits and pieces.

Right, I'm off to Aldi! Thanks so much for all the recommendations. I've just bought a farm sticker book, too. I'll be back for more recommendations later.
